Receipts and invoices

What it is for

A customer asks you for proof of purchase? The bot prepares the sale’s receipt as a numbered PDF, with a QR code to check it. You forward it to your customer: the bot never writes to them.

Step by step

  1. After a confirmed sale, tap “Receipt” under the bot’s message. You can also type /invoice followed by the sale’s code, written in that message.

  2. The bot tells you what the receipt will show and asks whose name to put on it. Write the customer’s name, or tap “No name”.

  3. The receipt arrives as a PDF. Press and hold it, then forward it to your customer.

  4. Give your tax number (NIU) once and for all, with /niu followed by the number: your next receipts are titled “Invoice” and carry it.

  5. A mistake? Cancel the receipt with /invoice, its number and “cancel”: it stays, marked “Cancelled”, and the sale can get a new one.

Good to know

  • A sale has only one receipt: asking again sends you the same one, with no new number. Numbers follow each other, with no gap: R-2026-0001, R-2026-0002…
  • The receipt’s QR code opens a verification page: the number, the date, the total and the shop. Never the customer’s name or the items.
  • An order that is not confirmed yet has no receipt: confirm it first. /invoice on its own tells you how.
  • The customer’s name is erased 90 days after the receipt. /niu on its own tells you the saved number, /niu none removes it.
