Record a return

What it is for

A customer brings an item back? Record it with the sale’s code: the item goes back into stock, the sale’s amount goes down, and your reports and receipts show it. The refund itself is settled between you.

In WhatsApp

The bot’s real messages, replayed. Tap “Replay” to watch the conversation again.

Good to know

  • For a sale of a single item, write the number after the code, “/return V-5RT2 1”: no question.
  • You cannot return more than was sold: the bot tells you what can still come back. An order that was never confirmed has no return.
  • The return counts on the day you record it, on a “Returns” line of your report. A report you already received does not change.
  • The sale’s receipt shows the return, under the same number. Ask for it again with /invoice and the sale’s code to forward the updated version.
